- LEGENDARY, Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane is set to stay with TS Galaxy.
Murmurs have been rife that Letsholonyane might depart the Rockets but our President, Tim Sukazi has cleared the air around the future of the 38-year-old.
“He hasn’t retired. His contract had expired. We said here is a professional, a legend. A good servant of the game. He has got so much knowledge. Are we really this one young club that will be let go of such player? His experience will be critical to young upcoming players,” Sukazi elaborated.
Letsholonyane boasts a wealth of experience having campaigned in major international tournaments such as the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
“He can still play. You will see yourself. The style of play of TS Galaxy suites his style. He is a very critical core of our team.” Sukazi explained.
The veteran midfielder has been playing in the elite league for the past decade. He burst in to scenes back in 2002. He has amassed two league titles under his belt.
