21 February 2020 – New TS Galaxy FC coach, has dismissed any fears of cracking under the huge pressure of taking on the role of a club like TS Galaxy FC. The former Bafana Bafana striker was unveiled by the club as the new coach at a media briefing held at the club’s training base earlier this week where he emphasized that he thrives under pressure.
The fearless 37-year-old, who is one of the youngest coaches in the Glad Africa Championship said pressure is like medicine to him and it is what drives him to work even harder to succeed.
“Pressure is medicine to me. I fear nothing. I have a passion for football and getting the best out of my players and the people around me. The task given to me by the President (Tim Sukazi) is massive and it is not just about me but about the people that follow this club. I am up for the task and will do everything in my power to make the club and its supporters happy” said the coach.
Khenyeza’s first task will be on Sunday, 1 March in a highly anticipated Mpumalanga derby with TS Sporting at Kameelrivier Stadium.
The Rockets are gradually regaining their confidence following their impressive 1-0 away victory over AmaTuks last weekend and with Khenyeza at the helm, the only way for the Rockets is up.
