Galaxy prepare for Swallows clash

30 January 2020 – TS Galaxy are prepared to fight until the very last match of the season as the quest for premier division qualification continues.

Things have not went according to plan for the reigning Nedbank Cup champions who drew a number of matches that could have resulted in them being amongst the top three.

However, with the unpredictability of the league, not all is lost for the Rockets as there is still a lot of football to be played.

Galaxy welcome the high-flying Swallows FC at the Kameelrivier Stadium on Saturday, 1 February with the encounter set to be a highly entertaining match.

Just like Galaxy, Swallows dropped two crucial points in last weekend’s fixtures when they played host to Free State Stars. The Rockets will also be looking at collecting maximum points after letting go of a lead last week against Mbombela United to draw 1-1 at home.

History is however on the Rockets side. The last time the two sides met was at the Dobsonville Stadium where Galaxy emerged as 2-1 victors in a very impressive performance by coach Dan Malesela’s charges away from home.

Fans are urged to come out in their numbers and continue rallying the boys forward
