The vital three points and bragging rights will be at stake on Sunday afternoon when TS Galaxy and Witbank Spurs lock horns in the Mpumalanga derby at Kameelrivier Stadium. The highly anticipated National First Division (NFD) match promises to be nothing short of a cracker, as both sides will be aiming for nothing less than a victory in their first league encounter.
With more than ten years – experience in the second tier, Spurs head into the match holding the upper hand over Galaxy, who will be out to prove that while they’re newcomers they’re no pushovers.
A win against the eMalahleni – outfit will be a huge morale booster for Galaxy who are on a five – match winless run made up of four draws and one loss.
The Rockets return home this weekend after an away one – all draw against Real Kings at KwaZulu Natal’s Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday, while Spurs were handed a 2 – 0 defeat by Uthongathi FC at Princess Magogo Stadium the following day.
